How:

  • Say Nay with a bratty, forward tone

  • Use a 5-tone scale (e.g., C-D-E-F-G-F-E-D-C)

  • Focus on placement in your mask (nasal area)
    Bratty = forward = easier high notes.

4.Descending Mum Slides

Purpose: Improves control in lower register
How:

  • Start on high note, descend on Mum-mum-mum

  • Keep tone supported, dont go breathy
    Gives fullness to lower tones great for baritones & altos.

5.Sirens with Vowels

Purpose: Strengthens transitions between registers
How:

  • Slide oo or ee from low to high

  • Connect breath, keep sound even

  • Let voice flip into head voice naturally
    This is one of the safest ways to increase stretch.
